ccLXPOP is a program to utilize the LXTCP utilities written by Rod Whitby with ccMail. If you have setup LXTCP to work with your HPLX, you should be able to make this work with ccMail for a nice easy interface for email. CUTCP is a modfied version of NCSA Telnet. The package provides interactive access to telnet hosts on a TCP/IP network and supports 3270 type sessions. Works well with a PCMCIA ethernet card in the palmtop for network access. Public domain.

FAXGUI
FAXGUI is a palmtop poweruser's answer to the lack of an excellent fax program for the HP 100/200LX. BGFAX is a great fax program that runs nicely, but it does not have the greatest user interface. The author created a rich interface to BGFAX using LXBatch. He even includes the source code. Using the 2FAX program, you can add graphics and your signature to customize faxes. This program is released with no support and minimal documentation, but it is good enough that it should not be kept from the palmtop community. Freeware.

Goin' Postal is a powerful, text-based emailer for the HP 100/200LX. It was designed to fit easily on a 1 MB palmtop and all files only take up 112K of disk space. Supports dialup PPP, multiple mailboxes, providers and access points. This major version update adds MIME, Base64, digest exploding, improved PGP support, plus many other enhancements. Freeware.

GSMSSEND
GSMSSEND sends short messages (SMS) via a mobile phone or GSM terminal connected to the serial port of the LX. This version only supports SMS Text mode, not the PDU mode. For PDU mode support, see PDU by Stefan Peichl . There is also a Windows version of GSMSSEND called SMSSEND-32, which will support PDU mode in future versions. See GSMSSEND homepage . Minicom is a very small (700 bytes) communication program. What you type on the keyboard goes directly to the selected COM port, the received characters from the COM port are displayed on the screen. PDU
PDU.COM converts an ASCII short message (SMS) into a protocol data unit (PDU) and vice versa. PDU format is required by some mobile phones like the SIEMENS S25, S35i and similar models, but it also works with Nokia phones. If you want to handle your SMS like email on the HP 200LX, you should also download Tony Hutchins' POSTPDU . PDU and POSTPDU integrate well into Post/LX . PostPDU is a very powerful "SMS plugin" for Post/LX . It is based on Stefan Peichl's PDU and uses a Robot/LX script to send and retrieve short messages using a mobile phone. SETCOM1 allows one to configure the COM1 port of the LX for higher baud rates than is possible using the MODE command and it allows to switch the port to IR / wired / off.
