The 200LX Palmtop Database files contained here were created from the USDA data files at < http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/Data/SR11-1/dnload/sr11-1dn.html >. I used the abbreviated form of the data. Due to the ~2,000 record limit of a 200LX database file, I separated the file based upon USDA classification and have sorted the files by food description.

USDA Nutrient Data Lab Food Composition Data The USDA provides on their web site a set of ascii delimited files with the nutritional composition of almost 6000 foods. I downloaded these files and converted most of the data to GDB format for the pleasure of those pround owners of HP[12]00lx palmtops. There are actually three pages to each record. Use the PgUp and PgDn keys to switch between the pages. All data is based on 100 grams of the edible portion.
