Description

VIEW is a file viewer for DOS that will allow you to view and print files from WordPerfect 5.0-7.0, MS Word for Windows 1.0-6.0 & 97, Ami Pro, Wordstar, Windows Write and many others. This newest version includes support for the three zoom modes of the HP 200LX. Shareware. (Registrations mentioning Palmtop.Net get $5 off.)

No need to put VIEWHELP.CST, BATCHCNV.DOC, HOWDOI.DOC, HPUSERS.DOC, HPZOOM.DOC, NEW150.DOC, PAY4ME.DOC, TROUBLE.DOC and 4 more: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 83.5 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy HPPRINT.COM, HPZOOM.COM, VIEWCFG.COM, BATCHCNV.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

Send to my palmtop

The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
