SETCOM1
SETCOM1 allows one to configure the COM1 port of the LX for higher baud rates than is possible using the MODE command and it allows to switch the port to IR / wired / off. SLICK 50 (& Others) Here is a compilation of articles on the Slick 50 articles I collected. Slick 50, and other products such as T-Plus, contain an oil additive that is based on PTFE, more commonly known as Teflon. It is supposed to reduce engine wear at start up. The first article is one I indirectly obtained from rec.boats and rec.motorcycles (or something) which seems to be a transcript from a magazine article from Road Rider on oil additives. This is then followed by usenet testimonials, starting with an article I transcribed from the LA times mixed with my own opinions.
