No need to put READ.ME: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 11.7 KB on a 1 MB disk.

1. Copy SCREDIT1.EXE, TSINSTAL.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

            The two diskettes that you received from your shareware distributor
            contain the evaluation version of Turbo ScrEdit.Proceed to the
            section of this manual labeled "Installing The Registered Version
            Of Turbo ScrEdit".

            If you have downloaded Turbo ScrEdit from a BBS or information
            network via a modem this section will help you prepare for the
            installation.  Turbo ScrEdit is placed on the BBS in three files.
            If you intend to write programs in C or PASCAL you will have to
            have at least two of the three files.

            ScrEd1.Zip   This file contains the installation program, the
                         complete screen development system, and PART 1 of the
                         Turbo ScrEdit tutor. You will find everything here that
                         you need to see how easy it is to create and test
                         screens. Before you can use the screens that you create
                         in a program you will have to download one of the
                         following files.

            ScrEd2.Zip   This file contains the run time library source code for
                         the Turbo C 2.0 and/or Borland C++ interface modules.
                         The MEDIUM, COMPACT, LARGE, and HUGE memory models are
                         supported. This file also contains the Turbo ScrEdit
                         Programmers Reference Manual and example programs.
