Description

EMM200 is an EMS driver for the HP 100/200LX. The program uses the memory mapping scheme of the HORNET chip and assigns EMS memory to the C: drive. Copyrighted freeware.

How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 51.8 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • EMM200.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 7.6 KB
  • MAKEEMS.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 7.6 KB

No need to put EMM200E.DOC, EMM200J.DOC, MAKEEMS.DOC, EMMSRC.LZH, EMM200.ABS, README: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 51.8 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy EMM200.EXE, MAKEEMS.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

        MAKEEMS.EXE     utility to make EMS paging file
