How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 136.0 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • DR.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 69.8 KB

No need to put FILE_ID.DIZ, VENDINFO.DIZ, README.DOC, PACKING.LST, REGISTER.DOC, VENDOR.DOC, DESCRIBE.DOC, HISTORY.DOC and 2 more: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 136.0 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy DR.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

GETTING THE LATEST COPY OF DEXTER

  The Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP) has set up a small
  network of independant BBSs from which you can always obtain the
  latest versions of many ASP authored programs.  These 6 BBSs form the
  ASP Hub Network (AHN).  Each of these BBSs will allow any 1st time
  caller adequate access to download a single file of up to 500K per
  day.  These BBSs are bound by special agreement with the ASP.  In the
  case of a dispute contact the ASP Ombudsman.

  The latest Shareware version of DEXTER will always be available from
  each of the AHN BBS sites, as well as in Library 1 of the PCAPP forum
  on CompuServe.  You may also request the latest version directly by
  contacting Fagerlund Consulting.
