No need to put ALARM.SND, BULLDOG.GIF, CFLOW.CFL, CHOICE.LXB, CLEMENT.SND, COMPWIZ.GIF, EDCARD.PCX, LOOP.LXB and 9 more: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 41.0 KB on a 1 MB disk.

1. Copy BUFFMOVE.EXE, LOOP.BAT, CLR.COM, FV.COM to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.
2. Copy CHOICE.INI, FILER.INI to A:\_DAT, where the 200LX looks for configuration. Open it with Memo and adjust it before use.
3. If you edit a configuration file on the palmtop, make sure you leave a newline at the end: some programs swallow the last line without saying a word.
4. The .ICN files are icons: they go in the same folder as their application.
5. The .WK1 worksheets are not installed: open them from Lotus 1-2-3 with Menu → File → Retrieve.
6. Data files are opened from their own application, not installed separately.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.
