No hace falta llevar al palmtop UI.SET, BINGOKEY.HLP, DEMO.C, DEMO.CHS, README.DOC, CLASSIC.UI, CUA.UI, DEFAULT.UI y 23 más: son manuales, código fuente o material de apoyo. Léelos aquí y ahórrate 515.4 KB en un disco de 1 MB.

1. Copia BREG.COM, BE.EXE, BOPTS.EXE, UICFG.EXE a A:\SOFT. Son programas de DOS: se ejecutan desde el icono DOS, o añadiendo A:\SOFT al PATH de C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT para poder llamarlos por su nombre.
2. Copia B400_REC.DAT, BINGO.INI a A:\_DAT, que es donde el 200LX busca la configuración. Ábrelo con Memo y ajústalo antes de usarlo.
3. Si editas un fichero de configuración en el palmtop, asegúrate de dejar un salto de línea al final: hay programas que se comen la última línea sin avisar.

Deducido del contenido del paquete y de las convenciones del 200LX. Se instala en A: a propósito: C: es un disco RAM y cada byte ahí resta memoria al sistema.

Getting started with Bingo is very easy.  Type:
     be <filename>
to start Bingo editing the file <filename>.
     Once in Bingo, there are a couple of keys which are important to
remember.  In particular, the Escape key will bring up the main
menu (kinda important!) and the F1 key will pop up the help file.
The help file will list most basic commands, but navigation will
work as you might expect, with the arrow keys and PgUp & PgDn
moving the cursor.

     Version 4.00 of Bingo is most capable, sophisticated version of
Bingo ever shipped.  It went through a tremendous beta cycle and was
over a year in the making.  I hope you enjoy it!  Please feel free to

Getting the Latest Version

Compuserve:
     A good source for aquiring new versions of Bingo is through
Compuserve.  You can always find the latest version of Bingo as
BE<vers>.ZIP in the IBMAPP forum, Text Editor Section (1).

Anonymous FTP:
     For those with Internet FTP access, you can retrieve the latest
copy of Bingo as well as look at any other Sunderland Software
information by ftp'ing to:
     Host: ftp.digex.net
     Dir: /pub/access/cschanck/ss
In the near future (1Q95), Sunderland Software will have a World Wide
Web page availabe as well; information about this will be posted in
the ftp directory.
