Description

The HP Palmtop Paper TurboCALC(tm) v9.03 supports spreadsheets dimensions of 8192 rows by 256 columns with up to 16,000 totals cells in use simultaneously. It supports many math, statistical and financial functions. The program requires a minimum of 256k and can use as much as 640k.

How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 270.9 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • PRT.BAT → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 54 B
  • TC903.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 22.9 KB
  • TCALC.BAT → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 1.0 KB

No need to put CALC.000, CALC.001, CALC.002, CALC.003, CALC.CHN, EDIT.000, EDIT.CHN, EDITERR.MSG and 9 more: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 270.9 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy PRT.BAT, TC903.COM, TCALC.BAT to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

Send to my palmtop

The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
