How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 95.6 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • SENTENT.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 122.3 KB
  • SMGLOB.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 54.7 KB
  • CHECKIT.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 43.6 KB
  • SEN1GLOB.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 26.0 KB
  • SENT.BAT → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 1.2 KB

No need to put SEXTRA, ORDER.ENT, FILE_ID.DIZ, ORDERS.ENT, MANUAL.DOC, README: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 95.6 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy SENTENT.EXE, SMGLOB.EXE, CHECKIT.EXE, SEN1GLOB.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

			    SECTION I

		      ALL NECESSARY INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: This is a thick manual, but do not be dismayed. You only
need to read the first eleven pages, and most of that is light
reading. Besides, for the freeware version, you don't get much but
the first eleven pages! (Largely because we can't produce all those
foreign fonts in a single ASCII document.)
In any event, the program is easy to use, and there are hardly any
	instructions to learn.

	IF YOU'RE IN A HURRY...

You MUST read "Translator Instructions" (one page), and you really
should read "Practice Sentences". Then type "SENT" and go.
ENTER makes it translate, TAB switches to Spanish input, and ESC
stops it. If you also read "A Session Using Entente" it will save
	time in the long run.

			INTRODUCTION

Entente is a controversial product: a conversational translator program.

Send to my palmtop

The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
