Version 1.5 · Steve Novosad

Download 24.9 KB

Description

DRAW-LX.EXE is a small program to draw PCX pictures on the HP 200LX's CGA display. It can draw points, lines or arrows, boxes or rectangles, curves, and alphanumeric text. See the help screens for usage in each mode. The code is not overly dependent on the 200LX and the program should run on any PC/XT compatible computer with a CGA display.

How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 19.4 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • DRAW-LX.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 32.6 KB
  • DRAW-LX.ICN → A:\SOFT icono, junto a su aplicación 200 B
  • DRAW-LX2.ICN → A:\SOFT icono, junto a su aplicación 200 B
  • ICN.ICN → A:\SOFT icono, junto a su aplicación 200 B

No need to put DRAW-LX.E, DRAW-LX.G, FILE_ID.DIZ, WHAT'S.NEW: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 19.4 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy DRAW-LX.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.
  2. The .ICN files are icons: they go in the same folder as their application.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

Send to my palmtop

The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
