CPACK FLOPPY

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

• FILER.BAT → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 1.2 KB
• COMEBACK.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 6.7 KB

No need to put CPACKFPY.TXT: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 28.1 KB on a 1 MB disk.

1. Copy FILER.BAT, COMEBACK.COM to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

Below is the code for COMEBACK and the batch file that
must be written to the floppy. Before using the binary
file of COMEBACK it must be reassembled. The C code to
generate COMEBACK has been included. I used Borland C++
3.0 on a 486 to generate it. I also used PKLITE on it
as well.

The COMEBACK program is in binary below. This code is
neccessary since when exiting the FILER it assumes that the
More Applications brought it to FILER and the FILER assumes
that More Applications takes care of the path it was called
from. COMEBACK program emulates this. If you don't include
it the computer will get messed up on the way out of the
FILER on the PC.

The below batch file is nearly identical to the batch file
on the used in the connectivity pack. This file also needs
to be written to the disk.

Now, after putting these files on a disk call the batch file
and it will send you directly to the FILER.

P.S. I have also minimized Windows 3.0 to fit on 2.25MB of
     memory of a 4MB flash memory card runs pretty descent.
     I did it without compression.

the DOS DEBUG routine.

If you have downloaded the below script, remove any
captured communications header and then enter

     DEBUG < filename

at the dos prompt where filename is the name of this
script file.
