• INSTALL.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 15.0 KB
• UNZIP.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 28.9 KB

No hace falta llevar al palmtop READ.ME, INSTALL._D1, INSTALL._D2, ORDER.FRM, FILE_ID.DIZ, VENDOR.DOC, DESC.SDI, VENDINFO.DIZ: son manuales, código fuente o material de apoyo. Léelos aquí y ahórrate 629.9 KB en un disco de 1 MB.

1. Copia INSTALL.EXE, UNZIP.EXE a A:\SOFT. Son programas de DOS: se ejecutan desde el icono DOS, o añadiendo A:\SOFT al PATH de C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT para poder llamarlos por su nombre.

Deducido del contenido del paquete y de las convenciones del 200LX. Se instala en A: a propósito: C: es un disco RAM y cada byte ahí resta memoria al sistema.

NOTE TO PREVIOUS USERS OF SIMSTAT
  Important changes has been made to version 3.5e of SIMSTAT in the
  writing and reading of temporary files in order to eliminate some
  problems with network installation of SIMSTAT.  If you are installing
  SIMSTAT on a previous version, you may encouter problem running
  SIMSTAT addins released before 7/95.  If you encouter such problems,
  you may either remove the TEMP environment variable in your
  autoexec.bat file or prevent SIMSTAT from using this directory
  for storage of temporary files.  To do this, simply set a SIMSTAT
  environment variable with a NOTEMP parameter.

      SET SIMSTAT=NOTEMP

  You may put this DOS command in the autoexec.bat file or in a batch
  file used to call SIMSTAT.

PROGRAM MAINS FEATURES
        SIMSTAT is a menu driven statistical program that provides many
   basic descriptive and comparative statistics including:

         o Summary statistics (mean, variance, standard deviation, etc.)
         o Crosstabulation
             - normal crosstabulation and inter-raters agreement table
             - nominal statistics (chi-square, Pearson's Phi,
               Goodman-Kruskal's Gamma, Contingency coefficient)
             - ordinal statistics (Kendall's tau-b and tau-c, Pearson's R,
               symmetric and asymmetric Somers' D, Dxy and Dyx)
             - inter-raters agreement statistics (percentage of agreement,
               Cohen's Kappa, Scott's Pi, Krippendorf's r and R-bar, free
               marginal correction for nominal and ordinal measure)
             - 3-D bar chart
