• PNRTI.ICN → A:\SOFT icono, junto a su aplicación 200 B

• PNR.ICN → A:\SOFT icono, junto a su aplicación 200 B

No hace falta llevar al palmtop NEWS.C, GLOBALS.H, GLOBINIT.H, MAINMENU.H, LIB.H, MAILRES.H, LIBASM.ASM, NEWSRES.H y 43 más: son manuales, código fuente o material de apoyo. Léelos aquí y ahórrate 343.0 KB en un disco de 1 MB.

1. Copia GRAB.BAT, PNRTITST.BAT, SUMTEST.BAT, S2ZTEST.BAT a A:\SOFT. Son programas de DOS: se ejecutan desde el icono DOS, o añadiendo A:\SOFT al PATH de C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT para poder llamarlos por su nombre.
2. Copia PNR.CFG a A:\_DAT, que es donde el 200LX busca la configuración. Ábrelo con Memo y ajústalo antes de usarlo.
3. Si editas un fichero de configuración en el palmtop, asegúrate de dejar un salto de línea al final: hay programas que se comen la última línea sin avisar.
4. Los .ICN son iconos: van en la misma carpeta que su aplicación.

Deducido del contenido del paquete y de las convenciones del 200LX. Se instala en A: a propósito: C: es un disco RAM y cada byte ahí resta memoria al sistema.

When installing a !  new    release of PNR it is  # absolutely vital "  that you:

	 ! o    Remove PNR from the system manager (move to its icon & press F4)
	 ! o    Re-install PNR.EXM onto the system manager as per normal
	 ! o    PNR.EXE is the MS-DOS version of PNR.EXM. Use PNR.EXM unless you
	  really want the non-SysMgr version.

If you do not following these steps PNR will crash your palmtop when you execute it.

NOTE: Install PNR.EXM, not PNR.EXE, on your palmtop.


 # Installing PNR "

PNR uses a configuration file called 'PNR.CFG'. This file contains all your preferences & other settings. Edit the sample PNR.CFG that comes with PNR and move it to the C:\_DAT directory on your palmtop (and desktop if you use PNR.EXE on it). The configuration file contains instructions on what each setting is for. Basically, you only  ! need    to change the following settings (see section below):

	user		Your username (e.g. mickyj)
	host		Your hosts name (e.g. hk.net)
	name		Your name or alias (optional, e.g. 'Micky J')
	newsdir		The directory where news is stored (e.g. c:\news)

Install  # PNR.EXM "  (not PNR.EXE) into the System Manager as per normal. I suggest you give it the hotkey Alt-MEMO, but it's entirely up to you.

If you want to install  # PNRTI.EXE "  into the System Manager on your palmtop, then install as (change c:\bin to wherever you put it):
