Thesaur Plus

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

No need to put ATENTION.TXT, THESPLUS.NEW, THESPLUS.DOC, THESPLUS.TXT, THESPLUS.NDX, THESPLUS.SRT: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 105.8 KB on a 1 MB disk.

1. Copy CONFIG.EXE, THESPLUS.EXE, THESAUR.EXE, REINDEX.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.
2. Copy THESPLUS.CFG, THESPLUS.DAT to A:\_DAT, where the 200LX looks for configuration. Open it with Memo and adjust it before use.
3. If you edit a configuration file on the palmtop, make sure you leave a newline at the end: some programs swallow the last line without saying a word.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

How to Install Thesaur Plus

    Thesaur Plus should reside on your Hard Drive, so you
    will need to copy all the files from this disk to the
    subdirectory of your choice on the Hard drive.
       (Thesaur Plus does not care what drive or directory it is on,
        but all the files MUST stay together in the same directory!)

    Once you have all the files where you would like, you can then
    run CONFIG.EXE to change the Default Colors and Hot Key.

    Once you have copied the files (If you wish) and changed the
    Default Colors and HotKey (Again, If you wish) - to Load Thesaur
    Plus into memory just run the file THESPLUS.EXE, or if you are not
    in the current drive or directory you will have to add those too.

    If you run THESPLUS.EXE from a floppy drive, do not remove the
    disk unless Thesaur Plus is first removed from memory.  A floppy
    system is NOT recommended for use with THESPLUS.EXE.
