Electronic Periodic Table of Elements
Version 2.0 · Joe Bork
Description
The Electronic Periodic Table of Elements was written by Joe Bork when he was in the sixth grade. It runs pretty well on the palmtop, but probably needs some color help with CGAHLP. Shareware.

PERIODIC.EXE→ A:\SOFT programa de DOS 68.3 KB -
PRINT.BAT→ A:\SOFT programa de DOS 476 B -
INSTALL.EXE→ A:\SOFT programa de DOS 42.7 KB
No need to put
MANUAL.DOC:
they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 19.7 KB on a 1 MB disk.
Steps
- Copy PERIODIC.EXE, PRINT.BAT, INSTALL.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.
Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.
The author's instructions
PROGRAM INSTALLATION:
Included on the disk is the installation program for installing this
program. This file is simply written to make it easier to transfer the files
from one place to another on your system. This program is not copy-protected,
but if you plan on giving other people a copy of this program, (which is
perfectly legal, and I hope that you DO spread copies of my program around)
you must include all of the files contained of the disk. These are:
PERIODIC.EXE (The main program)
INSTALL.EXE (The installation program)
MANUAL.DOC (The User's Guide documentation)
PRINT.BAT (The file to print out the User's
Manual)
Because this program is distributed as Shareware, you must not change ANY
PART of the files contained on this disk, and you MUST include all of the
above files on the disk that you are distributing.
To start the installation program, type "INSTALL" at the DOS prompt.
When the program loads, it will ask you to enter the source drive and source
directory, the destination drive, and the destination directory. Once you
have entered all of this information, the program will ask you whether you
want to create the destination directory. If this directory does not exist,
answer "Y" and the installation program will create it for you. If the
directory does exist, simply answer "N" to the question. After you answer "Y"
or "N", the program will proceed to transfer (COPY) all of the files from the
source drive to the destination drive. Once this is done, you may press any
key to exit the installation program. If no errors occurred, all of the
necessary files are now on the destination drive. To start the program from

Send to my palmtop
The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
Your browser cannot talk to the serial port. Direct sending uses the Web Serial API, which only exists in Chrome, Edge and Opera on desktop — not in Firefox, Safari or any mobile browser.
Download the file with the button above and copy it to the palmtop your usual way.
