No need to put INSTALL.MSG, INSTALL.PGM, LAUNCH.INF, MAGELLAN.PGM, MAGELLAN.SKP, ALLDRIVE.IX1, SAMPLES.IX1, MAGELLAN.BKP and 87 more: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 1.4 MB on a 1 MB disk.

1. Copy MGUNZIP.EXE, INSTALL.COM, MG.COM, MGFAST.BAT to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.
2. The .WK1 worksheets are not installed: open them from Lotus 1-2-3 with Menu → File → Retrieve.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

■ Installing and Running Magellan

  The Explorer's Guide, pages 14 and 16, states that you
  need 256K in order to install and run Magellan.  The
  correct number is 330K.
