Description

STEAM TABLES for LX Version 1.00 Copyright (C) 1998 MIYAKE Shuhei ----- Functions This program calculates the thermodynamic properties of steam/water based upon the identical formulations described in the JSME STEAM TABLES 1967. (JSME: The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers) This program accepts inputs of following four ways. (1)Temp. and Press. - for any region of water or steam (2)Temp. or Press. - for saturated water and saturated steam (3)Temp. and Quality or Press. and Quality - for wet steam (4)Enthalpy and Press.

How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 7.3 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • steamtbl.exm → A:\SOFT aplicación del System Manager 55.9 KB
  • steamtbl.icn → A:\SOFT icono, junto a su aplicación 200 B

No need to put steamtbl.txt, steam.pcx: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 7.3 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy steamtbl.exm to A:\SOFT. It is a System Manager application: register it in App Manager with F2 (Add), giving the full path (for example A:\SOFT\steamtbl.exm).
  2. The 200LX takes 8 EXM applications at most. Check with F8 (List) in App Manager: an asterisk in the Status column means the quota is full and you will need MoreEXM.
  3. The .ICN files are icons: they go in the same folder as their application.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

The author's instructions
----- Installation
This archive includes following files.
    STEAMTBL.TXT ..... This file
    STEAMTBL.EXM ..... Executable file
    STEAMTBL.ICN ..... Icon file
    STEAM.PCX ..... P-T Diagram for your reference

Unzip .EXM and .ICN files, and register STEAMTBL.EXM to the System Manager.
At the first execution, STEAMTBL automatically creates a STEAMTBL.ENV file
in A:\_DAT directory. In the case that there is not a: drive, then c:\_DAT
is assigned instead.

----- How to Use
1.Enter temperature and pressure, then press [F10]. The properties of the
water or steam are calculated and displayed.
The possible range of input value is displayed by pressing [F1] key.
The unit system of input values is assumed that now on display.

2.You can select the unit sets by checking [UnitSet] menu in the menu bar.
When selecting multiple sets, you can change the unit set by [F9] key,
  at any time.
At the first execution of the program, SI and Metric are selected.

3.To calculate the saturation, you enter the data only in the field of either
Temp or Press. In this case only the pressure or temperature below the
  critical point is effective.

4.To calculate wet steam, enter temperature and quality or pressure and
quality. The quality (%wetness) is identified by a suffix 'x' or 'X' at
  the other field.
     ex.) Temp[180 ] Press[2.5x ] <- 2.5% quality

5.To calculate properties from pressure and enthalpy, enter the enthalpy data
at Temp field. The enthalpy is identified by a suffix 'h' or 'H'.
This calculation is suited for the range in the subregion 1 and 2.
     ex.) Temp[800h ] Press[120 ] <- 800kcal/kg enthalpy

6.The calculation result can be copied to the clipboard by [F2] through
…

Send to my palmtop

The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
