How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 17.9 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • CAPSYS.EXM → A:\SOFT aplicación del System Manager 4.0 KB

No need to put CAPSYS.DOC, MAKEFILE, CAPSYS.C: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 17.9 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy CAPSYS.EXM to A:\SOFT. It is a System Manager application: register it in App Manager with F2 (Add), giving the full path (for example A:\SOFT\CAPSYS.EXM).
  2. The 200LX takes 8 EXM applications at most. Check with F8 (List) in App Manager: an asterisk in the Status column means the quota is full and you will need MoreEXM.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

It also needs 1

The manual mentions these files, which are in the archive:

The author's instructions
[3] Installation

Copy CAPLX.EXM to your preferred directory and register
a start key (Hot Key) for it on MoreEXM. Assuming that you
copied the file to A:\BIN\ directory and the start key is
[ALT]+[F3] (keycode 6A00), please add a following line to
  MOREEXM.INI:
    a:\bin\capsys.exm,6a00,1,CapSys
Reboot the system to make this change to take effect. It is
important to set the third parameter to '1' (suppress
clear-screen). Otherwise CAPSYS captures a blank screen.

If you like to use another key, substitute 6a00 with the code
of that key. Running CHKKEY.COM from DOS can give you a
  keycode of any pressed key.

Note: If you would prefer to use [Fn]+[C] or [PRTSC] to start
CAPSYS, you need to use a key remapping program such
        as EXkey or Key200.

Send to my palmtop

The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
