How to install it

What to send to the palmtop saves 119.8 KB

These are the files you need. You can send them from the package contents below.

  • ANTIWORD.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 217.9 KB

No need to put 00README.TXT, ANTIWORD.MAN, CHANGES.TXT, COPYING, FAQ, HISTORY, README, 8859-1.TXT and 7 more: they are manuals, source code or supporting material. Read them here and save 119.8 KB on a 1 MB disk.

Steps
  1. Copy ANTIWORD.EXE to A:\SOFT. They are DOS programs: run them from the DOS icon, or add A:\SOFT to the PATH in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to call them by name.

Derived from the package contents and the 200LX conventions. It installs to A: on purpose: C: is a RAM disk and every byte there is memory taken from the system.

Unpack antiword.zip
  pkunzip -d antiword.zip c:\antiword

NOTE: experienced users of DOS may want to edit their autoexec.bat in order
to add the Antiword directory to their PATH variable.

If you don't do this, you will need to go into the Antiword directory before
running the program.

More advanced installation
These instructions can be followed under all versions of Windows, but are
most useful under Windows NT, 2000 and XP.

Send to my palmtop

The palmtop must be waiting before you press the button, or the transfer will fail. It is the palmtop that announces it is ready, not the other way round.
