Gutnberg
Here's another (possibly) useful HP200LX database. I downloaded the most recent ascii text of the titles and authors from the "The Official and Original Project Gutenberg Web Site and Home Page" (http://promo.net/pg/). For those that might be interested, here's a summary of what I did to convert the text list into a database file. I imported the file PROJECT~1.TXT into an Excel spreadsheet and saved it as a comma-separated-value, or delimited, (DLM) file. Ported the DLM file to my HP200LX and cleaned up the file so that it could be read into a new *.gdb file (PG.GDB) using GDBLOAD.EXE.

NBA
Hello Everyone, Here's the entire 1997/1998 NBA schedule. The original data was downloaded from http:\\www.nba.com as separate ascii files. They were combined into a comma separated value (CSV) file then the CSV file was converted into the HP*00LX database (*.GDB) format. The conversion to the *.GDB format was accomplished using the GDBLOAD program. Included in this NBA.ZIP file are this README.TXT file, the NBA.CSV, and NBA.GDB files. Note: To keep the dates straight, a field for the year was added. If you want to sort by date, use "Year" as the first sort criteria item, then sort by date.

rpmgdb.pl is a perl script for creating a HPLX database (GDB) of all the RPMs found in a list of user-specified directories. It will also flag those that are installed on the current system so you can see which are installed and which are not. Requires a Unix system employing RPM (Red Hat Package Manager).
