• SLEEPON.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 800 B

No hace falta llevar al palmtop SLEEPON.DOC: son manuales, código fuente o material de apoyo. Léelos aquí y ahórrate 7.0 KB en un disco de 1 MB.

1. Copia SLEEPON.COM a A:\SOFT. Son programas de DOS: se ejecutan desde el icono DOS, o añadiendo A:\SOFT al PATH de C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT para poder llamarlos por su nombre.

Deducido del contenido del paquete y de las convenciones del 200LX. Se instala en A: a propósito: C: es un disco RAM y cada byte ahí resta memoria al sistema.

Copy from the original windows 3.0 diskette 2 following file
to the directory c:\install

PROGMAN  EXE

Copy from the original windows 3.0 diskette 2 the following
file to your root directory c:\

EXPAND   EXE

Change to the root directory and enter

 expand c:\install\*.*  c:\win3

Change to the directory c:\win3 and rename win.cnf to win.com:

 ren win.cnf win.com

Create the file system.ini with the following content

[boot]
display.drv  = cga.drv
fonts.fon    = cgasys.fon
oemfonts.fon = cgaoem.fon
network.drv  =

Create the file win3.bat with the following content

serctl/w
sleepon/i
win
sleepon/r
serctl/o

Copy SLEEPON.COM to your c:\win3 directory

Make sure that your PATH contains the D:\BIN directory to
access the SERCTL utility of your Palmtop.

That's all. If you now enter 'win3' in the c:\win3 directory,
Windows should start. If you have a mouse connected to your
serial port, it should work.

You are now able to install further Windows 3.0 programs of
the original Win3.0 diskettes or other Win3.0 programs.
