CHARGING

Estos son los ficheros que necesitas. Puedes enviarlos desde el contenido del paquete.

• INITLX.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 44 B
• CHARGE.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 74 B
• TRICKLE.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 98 B
• BAT.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 416 B
• FASTCHG.COM → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 567 B

No hace falta llevar al palmtop INITLX.8, CHARGE.TXT: son manuales, código fuente o material de apoyo. Léelos aquí y ahórrate 5.3 KB en un disco de 1 MB.

1. Copia INITLX.COM, CHARGE.COM, TRICKLE.COM, BAT.COM a A:\SOFT. Son programas de DOS: se ejecutan desde el icono DOS, o añadiendo A:\SOFT al PATH de C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT para poder llamarlos por su nombre.

Deducido del contenido del paquete y de las convenciones del 200LX. Se instala en A: a propósito: C: es un disco RAM y cada byte ahí resta memoria al sistema.

De-installation is only possible if FASTCHG is the last TSR started.
If it does not deinstall, it does not do any harm apart from the
(little) memory it takes up. You can simply reboot to get rid of it.

However don't reboot while charging as a reboot will reset the counter
to 6 hours once again)! Unplugging and plugging in the power adapter
will also reset the timer.

You have to disable charging manually after the last 6 hour charge.

The original idea was to let the TSR run for an additional 6 hours,
after which it shuld disable charging and deinstall itself. However, the
built-in interrupts are not reentrant, and the computer usually hang.
There must be a way around this, but I changed to trickle charging
before I found one.

I wonder what it will do if you start charging on the 31 December 1999
and midnight falls within the 2 hour period.
