• DEMO.DAT → A:\_DAT configuración 11.6 KB
• DEMO.BAT → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 376 B
• HDM.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 35.2 KB
• DM.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 1.0 KB
• HPM2HDM.EXE → A:\SOFT programa de DOS 17.3 KB
• DM.ICN → A:\SOFT icono, junto a su aplicación 200 B

No hace falta llevar al palmtop HDM.DOC, ICONS.ZIP: son manuales, código fuente o material de apoyo. Léelos aquí y ahórrate 28.0 KB en un disco de 1 MB.

1. Copia DEMO.BAT, HDM.EXE, DM.EXE, HPM2HDM.EXE a A:\SOFT. Son programas de DOS: se ejecutan desde el icono DOS, o añadiendo A:\SOFT al PATH de C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT para poder llamarlos por su nombre.
2. Copia DEMO.DAT a A:\_DAT, que es donde el 200LX busca la configuración. Ábrelo con Memo y ajústalo antes de usarlo.
3. Si editas un fichero de configuración en el palmtop, asegúrate de dejar un salto de línea al final: hay programas que se comen la última línea sin avisar.
4. Los .ICN son iconos: van en la misma carpeta que su aplicación.

Deducido del contenido del paquete y de las convenciones del 200LX. Se instala en A: a propósito: C: es un disco RAM y cada byte ahí resta memoria al sistema.

Installation:

 If you plan to use HDM from within System Manager there's
an icon supplied for this. What I did is installed HDM
as a new application to the System manager, and moved its
icon to the top left corner of the screen (first icon).

                    !!IMPORTANT!!:
To install HDM as an application in the System Manager,
add the '|' character at the end of the filename so that
System Manager launches HDM with the maximum possible memory.
HDM needs AT LEAST 90k of free memory!

For example, if DM.EXE resides in A:\HDM, you should
enter the following line:

 a:\hdm\dm.exe|        < notice the '|' character!

 You can use HDM from both Application manager and DOS.

 With the growing number of PAL applications that are having the
same look & feel of the built-in applications, HDM will be
very usefull.


 Here are the contents of the HDM.ZIP file:

 DEMO.BAT:    Demo batch file. This will give you a quick idea
              on what HDM is all about.

 DEMO.DAT:    Demo application list data-file.

 DM.EXE:      The HDM launcher written by Rob Koenis.
 HDM.EXE:     The HDM executable. Must run DM.EXE to run it.
 DM.ICN:      The HDM Icon.
 HPM2HDM.EXE: The HPMENU -> HDM data file converter.
 HDM.DOC:     This document file.

 ICONS.ZIP:   A small collection of icons you can add to your
              icon directory. If you don't have an icon
              directory you should create one for HDM.

 DOSMGR.ENV : This file will be created in your C:\_DAT
              directory. It will hold information such
              as the Icon directory path, the current
              cursor position, and all of the topcard info.
